This role primarily supports the New York market, with a strong preference for candidates based in or near the five boroughs. Candidates must be willing to travel to local and remote markets as needed.
Pay: $1,280 to $1,350/week
Additional Reimbursements: Cell phone & internet reimbursement + mileage
We are looking for a Field Manager to support a wireless program in the New York market. This role is a mix of field team management and client/account management, so we’re looking for someone who can lead teams in the field, communicate with clients, stay organized, and keep the market running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is professional, resourceful, confident leading teams, and comfortable balancing field execution with client-facing responsibilities. Leadership ability is a must.
Responsibilities:
Client | Account Management
- Serve as the point person/day-to-day contact for multiple markets or special projects
- Attend client weekly calls, meetings, and planning sessions
- Partner with the Account Team Lead to develop agendas and advise clients on programs/market activity
- Support client-facing reporting, updates, and follow-up
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for quarterly market planning calendars
- Provide new ideas, solutions, and local market insights
- Research upcoming events in assigned market(s) to present to clients on an ongoing basis
- Maintain professionalism and strong communication when receiving feedback or direction from the client/account team
Team Management | Mentoring
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage Brand Ambassadors and Lead Brand Ambassadors
- Create and manage event schedules within Havas Street Hub/Portal
- Review field team recaps, photos, payroll, and mileage
- Attend events on-site to observe the team in action and provide positive and constructive coaching
- Spot-check activations to ensure event execution meets client standards
- Coach Lead BAs on photos, recap commentary, metrics, and overall event execution
- Identify BAs with potential to grow into Lead BA roles
- Monitor and manage market event activity via GroupMe or group texts
- Maintain a strong field staff pipeline and actively identify new talent for the market
Events | Campaign Management
- Ensure excellence across market event execution and special campaigns
- Confirm event logistics are completed to client standards through consistent communication
- Identify staffing needs and partner with support teams to ensure appropriate coverage
- Communicate event details and instructions to the field team through ROS and pre-event calls
- Ensure event recaps are submitted in a timely manner with clear data, strong commentary, and quality photos
- Research community events, local opportunities, and market activity that could support or elevate the program
- Bring forward fresh ideas and solutions to improve market execution and activation impact
Storage | Assets
- Maintain market storage units, ensuring items are clean, organized, labeled, and easy to access
- Support asset quality control and maintain an updated inventory document
- Track high-ticket assets, including demo units used at events, and ensure they are safely returned
- Support asset transportation as needed
Qualifications
- AA/BA degree desired, preferably in communications, liberal arts, business, or marketing
- 2–3 years of field or experiential marketing experience, or experience in a related business environment
- At least 1 year of team management experience; stronger management experience preferred
- Experience managing a team of 25-30+ BAs/staff, such as tour management, retail management, experiential marketing, or similar team leadership experience
- At least 2 years of client management, account management, or client-facing experience preferred
- Experience supporting wireless, tech, retail, promotional, or community-based activations is a plus
- Existing field staff or promotional talent pipeline in the New York market is a strong plus
- Must be able to pass an MVR check
