Havas Street is hiring a Team Lead and a Brand Ambassador to represent a premium coffee portfolio. The TL + BA will help serve coffee at an elevated Hotel Leadership Conference.
Location: Santa Barbara, CA. 93117
Dates: Monday, April 13th - Thursday, April 16th
Event Schedule:
Monday 4/13 (1PM - 5PM) – 1 TL - Set Up support (4 hours)
Tuesday 4/14 (7:30AM – 1PM) – 1 TL/1 BA - Event (5.5 hours)
Tuesday 4/14 (6PM – 9PM) – 1 TL/1 BA - Event (3 hours) - TBD
Wednesday 4/15 (7:30AM – 1PM) – 1 TL/1 BA - Event (5.5 hours)
Thursday 4/16 (10:30AM – 2:30PM) – 1 TL/1 BA - Event (4 hours)
Compensation (W-2, before taxes)
Team Lead: $42/hour
Brand Ambassador: $40/hour
Paid training:
Brand training via Zoom (date and time to be determined)
Uniform:
Business Polished (White polo / khakis with branded apron)
Role Requirements
Team Lead
- Lead by example with strong communication and organizational skills
- Effectively manage resources and delegate tasks in a fast-paced environment
Team Lead & Brand Ambassador
- Provide friendly, engaging, and collaborative support to enhance the brand and overall guest experience
- Deliver premium product education and demonstrations
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with or experience in coffee service
- Previous special event, conference, or barista experience is a strong plus
Staff Expectations
- Professional, reliable, and outgoing
- Polished presentation with excellent customer service skills
Key Responsibilities
- Unbox, set up, operate, and break down coffee equipment and event supplies
- Engage conference attendees in a high-energy, corporate environment
- Prepare and serve coffee while demonstrating machines and sharing basic product information
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and elevated presentation (refilling water, ice, milk, etc.)
Availability Requirement
