Havas Street is hiring a Part-Time City Manager to lead execution for a high-profile spirits portfolio in the Denver market and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone with adult beverage field marketing and team leadership experience who can confidently manage sampling events, local logistics, Brand Ambassadors, and market execution from start to finish. The right candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable being the go-to local lead for both on-premise and off-premise programming.

Position Details

  • Requirement: TIPS Certification required

What You’ll Do

Lead Market Execution

  • Oversee and execute all local events and program tactics across the market
  • Ensure all POS, assets, and materials are used correctly and in line with brand standards
  • Strategically staff and coordinate event schedules to support flawless execution
  • Attend and support events on a consistent weekly basis to ensure event excellence and sampling compliance
  • Step in to work promotional events as needed

Manage Logistics & Assets

  • Oversee local warehouse/storage unit organization and inventory
  • Distribute and transport POS, assets, and program materials to storage, events, and Brand Ambassadors
  • Manage local event materials efficiently to support ongoing market activity

Own Budget, Reporting & Payroll Support

  • Manage local team credit cards and market budget
  • Submit monthly reports including product spend and local field expenses
  • Generate and submit weekly payroll reports to the Regional Manager accurately and on time, including during holiday weeks
  • Respond to team questions related to payroll and benefits in a timely, professional manner
  • Complete program reporting, including event recaps, photos, account feedback, consumer insights, and market recommendations

Lead the Brand Ambassador Team

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Brand Ambassadors and logistics staff
  • Coach team members on key talking points, sampling compliance, and execution best practices
  • Support performance management and team accountability with guidance from the Regional Manager

Build Strong Local Relationships

  • Serve as the primary local contact for the sales team and maintain strong working relationships
  • Build positive relationships with retailers, account staff, and consumers
  • Provide updates on competitive activity and market insights
  • Partner with local teams to share best practices and drive strong execution
  • Consistently meet program KPIs, including execution and sales standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Must be 21+ years old
  • TIPS Certified
  • At least 1 year of management experience in the spirits or beer industry
  • Spirits industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experiential marketing experience is a plus
  • Must be a local candidate based in the Denver area
  • Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record required
  • Comfortable driving daily within the market
  • Able to lift, load, unload, and move product/materials up to 50 lbs
